Sample Survey

Attached to this page is a sample survey for a mid-size Sport Fisherman, with twin inboard engines. Other sized vessels will mirror this survey, except for the differences in size and equipment. A survey for a sailing vessel will be similar, with three additional sections which cover the standing rigging, running rigging, and sails.

In this report, you will find areas which have x’s in place of private information, such as vessel name, buyer and sellers names, and proprietary numbers, such as the hull identification number (HIN) and other information. In a customers report, the actual numbers and names will be printed.

Reports are proprietary and become the property of the person contracting the survey. You will receive a PDF verson of the report, a printed condensed version (similar to PDF), and a printed photo documented copy to keep for your records. The PDF and condensed versions can be sent to banks and insurance companies for their underwriting purposes.
